| Scott Collard | Brooklyn, NY | No | Looks like I will miss again (do they do these at 25 too?). I live in Brooklyn NY with my lovely partner Jillian Cavanaugh (BHS 1988) and our almost-2-year old, Rawlins. I am the Social Sciences Coordinator (whatever that means) at the NYU Library (yes, a librarian) and Jill's an anthropologist, which means we are continuously defensive about how much TV we watch. It also means occasional perks like living in Italy for stretches while Jill does research, so I don't complain much. nnI miss Colorado, though we get back for family a couple times a year if lucky. I wish you all a happy reunion, and will try not to be such a slacker in 2013. Gulp. | |||

| Kristy Singh (DeLine) | Mt. Prospect, IL 60056 | Yes | In some ways it's hard to believe it's been 20 years since high school. Yet, in some ways those days feel like a lifetime ago. The short version of my life is: I am a pilot for United Airlines, living in Chicago. I spent the first 10 years post high school reaching this goal and the past ten years enjoying the life I have created since. I am divorced, no kids, live with my boyfriend of 3 years. The longer version of my life is that I went to college at the Metropolitan State College of Denver. Metro has one of the best aviation programs in the country (who knew!?!). I graduated with my Commercial pilots license and Certified Flight Instructor ratings. My first jobs were teaching (other) new pilots in small airplanes (I mean, SMALL...max take off weight of 1700 or 3000 pounds; 150 or 170 hp engines with 2 or 4 seats!! Cessna 150, 152, 172s for you aviation geeks out there). After three years of flight instructing in Florida, New Jersey, and Colorado, I was hired by a freight airline. I flew the Boeing 727 as a flight engineer and first officer. I moved ten times during the ten years post high school chasing jobs/aircraft assignments. I was hired by United Airlines in 1998, moved to Chicago and have been living there ever since. I started at United as a First Officer on the Boeing 737 and now fly the Airbus A320 (no, NOT the jumbo!). These airplanes weigh up to 162,700 pounds and hold 120, 138 or 156 people depending on the configuration. I have managed to stay employed at United despite numerous layoffs and schedule reductions in the post 09/11 and $140+/barrel oil environment. Somewhere in the midst of all of that I have managed to have a personal life. I got married in 1995, divorced in 2002. I never wanted kids therefore never had any. I met my boyfriend in 2005 and expect to live 'happily ever after' with him. Someday we hope to get a dog, but for now with my crazy schedule I am lucky to keep my house plants alive. I have been fortunate in that I have gotten to do a lot of traveling. I have been all over the U.S., and to several places in Canada, Mexico, the Carribean, and Europe. I am hoping to move back to Colorado in the near future. My family and closest friends are still in the area, plus the lifestyle, climate, and scenery in Colorado is like none other. I look forward to seeing everyone at the reunion! | ![]() | ![]() | |
| Clay DellaCava | Boulder, CO | Yes | You remember me as Dougherty but I took my stepdad's last name shortly after high school. I attended CSU for 2 years then moved to Denver and graduated from Metro State. I worked in the Telco industry for 6 years before going to grad school in Chicago for Real Estate Development. I currently work with my Dad in Boulder developing and investing in Real Estate throughout Boulder County and the neighboring cities. I'm looking forward to the reunion and want to thank those individuals who put this reunion together. | ![]() | ||
| Andrew Diamond | San Francisco, CA 94110 | Yes | Since our 10-year reunion, I've been playing some music and practicing some medicine, but not doing either particularly well. In 2002, while living in Denver, I finally managed to hook up with a girl who saw me playing in a band. (This had never happened before, even though I had been playing in bands since age 14.) I immediately fell in love and we got married 5 years later. We live in San Francisco, where I write music and build high-tech medical practices. My wife Elinor is an artist and baker. No kids yet. One dog. I miss Colorado and all of you very, very badly. | |||

| Kristin Gerdy | Orem, Utah 84057 | No | I'm currently living and working in Utah--where I swore I'd never live. I came to BYU for college, majored in journalism and English and ended up going to law school. Immediately after graduating I joined the faculty at the BYU Law School, where I've been teaching for 13 years (except for a 2-year sabbatical teaching in Philadelphia). We won't even say how weird it was to have Mike Masse as a student!! Scary how fast time flies! Still single, but loving life. I hope to make it back to Boulder for the reunion, but it's just before our semester starts for the 1Ls, so we'll have to see how it goes! | ![]() | ||
| Pamela Johnson (Gerhartz) | Rutherfordton, NC 28139 | Yes | We recently moved to a wonderful area in western North Carolina after 10 years in South Florida. Steve and I have been married for 16 years and have two sons, Brendan (8) and Dominic (5). We are currently starting our own business (www.shiningstarflags.com) and love working from home. I had a hard time selecting a "Then" photo that captured my full 80s hair. Unfortunately, I had to crop out my arm adorned with several Swatch watches and one fairly obnoxious patterned Esprit shirt! | ![]() | ||
| Rich Gilbert | Parker, CO 80138 | Yes | Currently when not in rehab I'm a spokesmodel for TrimSpa. I enjoy waking up in places I recognize and being dry. My career has taken me many places and I have given blood in exchange for food in nearly every large city in Nebraska. I dabble in S&M porn as the abductee when I have gambling debts or court fees to pay. In my free time you can usually find me trying to match left and right size 12 shoes at the Goodwill and arguing with a man who calls me "Boxcar". I've also become passionate about community activism. Several years ago I founded AHEM. After many years and many difficult moments I realized I had to do something to help stop the suffering. So I formed the American Herpes Education Mission. It's a call center where you can give us the name(s) of people you've exposed and we send them flowers and a Valtrex coupon. The coupon is our newest advancement, it used to just be a card that said "Tag, you're it - signed Senor Herpes". It's been good to keep up with so many of you and your families over the years. For the record: single, was common law semi-married-ish once, no kids, manager in a tech co, and selling everything and moving to Tulum MX when I sell my ranch-like property east of Parker, I do Krav Maga (kick boxing) for fun and I river raft, I've recently slimmed down to 295 which isn't really all that bad, I did the Boulder Peak Tri at 285 a few years ago. It may not be appropriate for a reunion but I am looking for investors to get-in-on a patent I have pending. Time and time again I have had to interpret the beeps, vibes, and electric shocks of my home confinement bracelet. I want to set up a website where people can download ringtones to their anklet to help inform and avoid those taser-like electric burns. For example I would much prefer to hear MC Hammer's "Can't touch this" instead of being dropped faster than a Slinky in the Parkinson's ward at Fraiser Meadows Manor by 20,000 volts each time I accidentally go within 100 yards of an elementary school. Franchises are available. | ![]() | ||

| Heather Lee (Hicks) | Wheat Ridge, CO 80033 | No | After high school, went to CU, got my BS in Kinesiology then moved to Vail to be a ski bum. That lasted for 4 fabulous years then decided I needed to get a "real" life. I moved back to Denver to go to Physical Therapist Assistant school, met and boy and got married. Jonathan and I live in Wheat Ridge with our beautiful 2.5 year old daughter Sheridan and 16 year old black lab Gretchen. I work part time as a PT Assistant and Pilates instructor. Those are the boring basics. Probably won't be able to make the reunion.... | |||
| Kristin Bartuska (Hight) | Littleton, CO 80127 | Yes | I taught elementary school for 10 years. Met my husband, Jim, and now have two boys, Riley(5) and Joel(3). Love being at home with the kids and taking advantage of this beautiful state of Colorado! | |||

| Jared Hill | Ft. Collins, Colorado 80524 | Yes | Single, unemployed, living in my parent's basement...but wait, let me explain! I'm still not sure where 20 years have gone, but here is a quick summary of what I've been doing: After High School graduation I went to CU Boulder for a while. I eventually graduated from CU with a Social Science degree (which is useless except to say that I went to school). I worked retail in Boulder for a little while after CU, and quickly decided that I needed a change. In 1994 I moved to St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands where I worked for a resort doing construction, general maintenance and systems maintenance on Photovoltaic Power systems and water systems. I also worked in a Hot Glass studio where I learned to blow glass and make glass jewelry, and I built up a nice little side business selling glass and photographing parties and weddings on the beach. When I wasn't working I was swimming or hiking or sailing or just sitting in my hammock in the shade. After over 13 years in the Caribbean an on-the-job-injury forced me to finally make the decision that it was time to move on. So I sent in my application to the Construction Management Masters Degree program at CSU - and they accepted me (!). In 2007 I moved back to Colorado, and I'm living in Ft. Collins while I'm in school. I am currently enjoying a break between summer classes and the Fall semester so I'm staying with my parents for a few weeks in Boulder. Perfect timing for attending the class reunion. I'm taking photos and making glass work again, and my goal is to keep selling enough glass and photography so that I can support myself without ever having to get a "real job". | |||

Racheal and I hope to start a family soon which is always a great time in a marriage :)and generally life is good. It will be great to reconnect with my old partners in crime and relive the days when we were breaking into apartment complex pools to skinny dip,"borrowing" 200 sheets from local hotels to spell out FHS 88 on the side of NCAR, and spliting an 8-pack of little kings beer between 15 people. Wait a minute did we do that?? Nawwwwww! After 20 years my memory is a little foggy. I can't wait to see my fellow FHS classmates and look forward to our reunion in August. | ![]() | ![]()

| Michelle Raese | Culver City, CA 90231 | Yes | The 20 year milestone hit me like a stone thrown from a mile away. I smiled in spite of it, knowing that during those 20 years I went a step or two beyond instinct, and saved a little time for fine arts... In 2001, I became the Thumbwar Champion of the Year, and was about to be declared Thumbwar Champion of All Time during my world tour. My world came crashing down when I suffered a debilitating hangnail that almost ended it all. Luckily, while on tour I met and married my husband, former porn star Gonzo de Balzac. Only through his unconditional love, support, and therapeutic techniques was I able to face my demons and pursue the road to recovery. I am now 100% healed and have begun intensive thumb training to pursue my dreams and reclaim my rightful title once more. In 2002, we adopted a beautiful cat and today the three of us live blissfully in Los Angeles, CA. Looking forward to seeing you all...and we really do have a cat! | Miguel Halverson-Ramos (Ramos) | Boulder, CO 80304 | Yes | Hello! After completing a bachelor's degree in viola performance at UIUC, I returned to Boulder and began freelancing. From '93 to '98 I played with Boulder Philharmonic, various chamber groups, had a quartet and taught lessons. In 1995 I helped form a Mambo band called "Cabaret Diosa", and then experienced several years of hedonistic touring around the US. (see http://www.myspace.com/cabaretdiosa ) The band eventually wound down and I met my wife, Faith, who is a music psychotherapist. I began teaching more, first at September High School, and now for the BVSD. :) | |||

We have three children, Zach who is 16 and is set to graduate high school this June-one year early and has given me years of watching high school football games, Amber is 11 and very athletic and smart. She is just like I was, very interested in everything. Trevor is 8 and he is very involved with sports, especially football and basketball. My stay at home mom duties never end as they all keep me busy and on the run. I still am very close with my girls, Lynne, Stephanie and Michelle. I look forward to seeing everyone in August. It will be fun to take a trip down memory lane... | ![]()

| Miles Simmons | WASHINGTON, DC 20001 | No | Well, I won't be at el reunion...but I will be thinking about everyone. 20 years is a long time and some of you (Steve Fisher) I've known since pre-school. Currently serving as a SSG in the US ARMY BAND DOWNRANGE (think: a REALLY good wedding band...that wears camoflauge and combat boots - no more Excalibur "sparkle fingers"). I have a permanent assignment in Arlington, VA. I am a city boy, however, and live in Washington, DC proper. Spent the last 20 years as a singer/actor living in Europe, working on cruise ships, doing national tours of shows, living in NYC and the like. I am finally settled in DC (uh...hello, pension, anyone?). So, if you get out here, let me know. Unmarried (but let's not go there) and never wanted the babies...I have nice, well behaved plants and a rock garden that will likely support me when I'm old, if I can keep them alive that long - the plants, I mean, not the rock garden. I was there for seven years, doing forensic audio, mastering, and recording in Carnegie Hall and other venues. Long story short, after a string of impressively dysfunctional relationships, and having limited success in the black market organ trade, I now live happily in Denver with my wife Jess and one-year-old son Ben [I get an incredulous "YOU have offspring??!!" a lot; yes, I do, so be very afraid]. | |||

| Bill(y) Waite | North Falmouth, MA 02556 | No | One lingering Fairview memory I can't seem to escape is the drumbeat we heard every week before the football game. About a year ago, our son Ryan (4 at the time) asked me to teach him a new song, and that drum beat just popped out. "What was THAT?" "The drum beat for my High School fight song." "High School, Daddy? How high?" "How hi... Oh, it's not 'high' like-" "You did a fight in school!?" "What? No! No fighting, just singing. I mean drumming. I mean we ... oh look - it's time for you to be in bed." We'll miss the reunion, but thanks for taking time to write your stories here. I appreciate you uncovering those memories hidden under the drumbeat. | ![]() | ||

| Paul (Jaime) Weissman | Denver, CO 80238 | Yes | Wife Lorraine, Sons Alex (8) and Zach (6). I've managed to stay out of jail (with only one close call) since high school - anything you all might remember was expunged from my record just before graduation. | Kimberley Fariello (White) | Denver, CO 80260 | No | Thanks for the invite! I was a bit surprised I got one seeing that I didn't actually graduate, but it sure is great to see what everyone has been up to the last 20 years. I started my family shortly after high school and now my two daughters are 17 and 14, totally cool and wonderful. Believe it or not, I did finally go to college and after grad school I became a real live archaeologist. I haven't gotten to go anywhere too glamorous but I do get to see a lot of cool stuff. Plus getting paid to play outside is never bad for someone who grew up in Boulder. I currently live in Denver with my husband, kids, three cats and two dogs and spend my free time doing photography and writing. | ![]() | ![]() | |
